As much as I'd like to believe it, this is a load of rubbish. Unfortunately, Hunter seems have thought his mentality in the ring that night was due to the pre-fight talk, but the thing is, Khan has always been like that.

There was no talk which got Khan riled up in the Molina fight and he still got whacked enough. In the Peterson fight it was no different. Maidana, Judah, Kotelnik and the list goes on.. He gets hit, and there was nothing in his mentality that night which made him lose that. Amir himself along with his team are trying to comfort themselves in trying to think that - all natural of course, but just not true, unfortunately for them.

I disagree, Khan showed respect vs Kotelnik Paulie and Zab, not vs Peterson and Garcia.

The thing is D, they let Khan work at his pace. Khan tried to do the exact same thing with Peterson and Garcia, it's just that they both beat him in their seperate ways. Although, I can understand that Khan was most definitely a bit more agressive in them two bouts, but again, it was due to what they were bringing to Khan. You could argue that Garcia wasn't, but that was just a matter of him getting shockingly counter punched.

Kotelnik, Paulie and Judah still hit Khan with some pretty good shots, it's just that they didn't have the same power to affect Khan.

Bro you know boxing about little details too, I mean if Khan just slowed a bit Garcia was not looking for him like Peterson, Garcia don't even have a high work rate, these guys him and his dad bank on you coming in so he can time you, Garcia slow footed around the ring and not really a pressure fighter who will hunter you down.

Khan was looking for him too much, just needed to slow down a little shortened the combos work his jab and maybe in later rounds when Garcia was ready to go step it up, remember Garcia had a cut over his right eye in the 2nd round that will also come into play over the rounds.
