When Nate Quarry fought Khalib Starnes and Starnes just spent the entire fight running away, Quarry was damned funny. First his exaggerated sprint after him late in the 3rd, then his thing he did with his elbow punches.

And then to cap it off, in his postfight interview he addressed the Canadian crowd who started off booing him, then switched to cheering his effort to get a fight going after they became disgusted with Starnes' running. Quarry started talking about how the crowd warmed to him, and then dropped a PERFECT Rocky quote about "if I can change..... and you can change..... EVERYBODY CAN CHANGE!"

Definitely the funniest/best postfight joke I've ever seen. Beautifully done.

You should have been there actually paying (internet PPV when the stream kept cutting off) for that PPV Haggis...the hate was very real. Wasnt so funny there, but as you say, fair play to Nate, he would have won TUF 1 in my opinion...

I still think about that to this day. He was definitely the favorite going in. He was actually my favorite fighter up until like a year ago.

I still love the guy; just everything he represents and fights for. His story is amazing. But do you think he gets passed a fatass Diego Sanchez's takedown?
