He fought in december so it's a stay busy fight ?

Who the fuck asks him to stay THAT busy ? I mean I wouldn't mind if his next fight was in March against a decent opponent. It's his 27th fight after all. That being said a lot of fighters pad their records so it's not against Deontay himself.

The guy had less than 35 amateur fights, add to that he had child with a serious illness which put a hold on the momentum from the early days of his pro career, no one is touting him as the next division ruler, sure I'd like to see him and plenty of the other talent do well and bring some excitement, again he don't deserve the amount of hate in here considering he has shown he is willing to go into big fights but has little control over the process.

he is now in his 5th year as a pro.
there are a ton of fighters who had 35 or less amateur fights , so quit using that excuse, it sounds painfully cliche at this point.
what 26-0 (26 kos) heavyweight medalist has "very little" say in his career at this point? i call bullshit on that. you think he has no say that matters in who he fights at this point? his management team are apparently a bunch of clowns.

im not happy with the opponent but it is the only logical thing i can think of
