I would like to see him fight at middleweight again(I know he could make 185lbs). Mostly because I think he would be a good matchup for Anderson Silva.

If he fights at 205, I'll just have to assume he doesn't value his career.

He'd be much better at 185.

I really can't believe the things I'm reading here. I honestly felt that Mousasi's stock had dropped so much from all the overrated criticism that he was now a bit underrated. But congratulations -- he's now officially overrated again.

He's overrated because one guy (literally) in this thread thinks he will be champion at 205? Because outside of that, there are no opinions that are even close to outrageous in this thread.

Damn, the line between over/underrated is finer than I thought. So fine that it's pretty much completely arbitrary.

He can also drop back down to 185 and be a fine matchup with the one and only Anderson Silva.

That's not even particularly outrageous. Obviously Silva is the much greater fighter, but there is no doubt that it is a stylistically interesting fight.

As the old adage goes, styles make fights, and that's a fight a lot of people would like to see. Outstriking Demian Maia is fun to watch, but I would much rather see Anderson up against a real quality striker like Gegard.

It reeks of Silva/Bonnar all over again. Or even the possibility of a Bisping matchup.

Well this obviously isn't worth continuing on with.

Let Mousasi fight Weidman.

Obviously. Because to you, Mousasi is the striking god's gift to MMA. It's above decent - but you run to it because of the gapping hole that is his wrestling.

Would he lose because he is overhyped, or because Weidman is very good and a stylistically unfavourable matchup?

I caught this before the edit, btw.

Weidman's proved enough for me whoever he beats its just because he's a stud.

What are you talking about? All you have to do is own a pair of eyes to see that he is a superior striker to the likes of Bonnar and Bisping. I'm not even saying he would beat Anderson. I am, however, saying that he would probably be the best striker that Anderson has faced.

And I don't need to run to shit, considering the fact that I rate his ground game.
