I honestly don't see how Rob Hunt has a snowball's chance. He seems horribly suited to the format...

Only the one stoppage in nineteen tries, and coming in his debut.

He's also been dropped multiple times in the first three rounds by no-marks.

He drew in a 4-rounder with someone who's lost over half the time he's fought.

He also, well, doesn't box very well.

BORKED

Mind you, Thompson is a big obstacle. Not only is he the most seasoned of the field, he struck me as being a pretty good fighter who could maybe compete at Commonwealth or Euro level. He got shafted against Culcay, and so I'll probably be cheering him on to collect the 32,000.
Thompson defo starts as fav imo and the draw cud b the key. been to all pearces fights his come forward throwing lots suits pf if he gets beat will take a lot out of his opponent he will b made to work hard. Saw cooper box once nice steady boxer never seen eggington but in a gud gym with good sparring. The other lads r an unknown to me. Disappointed al harbi pulled out

Here's something to ponder: had Al Harbi stayed in, and drawn the opposite side so he and Thompson could have met in the final...who is the favorite there?

Maybe if Thompson walks this, a bit later on they could meet in a 10-rounder at 154lbs. (which is the proper class for both, although you can see why either would've been keen to cut down for this chance)

The winner then poised to challenge Ochieng, if not Rose or even Smith?

nasser is mandatory for ochieng english title but cant see that happening. ochieng will vacate, maybe if thompson wins him v nasser vacant english title and british title eliminator

I'll feel more comfortable making a pick between them after seeing how PF goes...

Yeah, not sure why there isn't a line yet... can't be they're waiting on the draw to be set, as that could be til Friday or even Saturday.

Maybe they're just giving it another day or two to ensure no more drop-outs before money starts getting laid down?

poor opponent. lost his last 3. i suppose it is standard for someone with only 6 fights, but for someone topping a bill, and supposedly 'stepping up'

I've never heard of any of these fighters, so it looks like this Prizefighter might be a proper Prizefighter, rather than a stage for clapped out veterans looking for one last, sad shot at glory.

Toss up between foot and chad gaynor for me.foot may be a bit too brave though and get cut or tagged hard. Gaynor looks he better technician great at countering and plenty of confidence in his own power.BAD CHAD takes this
