Looking at the list the obvious one that don't belong in the company talent wise is AA , saying that sexy is the only current Middle that could hope to cope with the rest former welterweights or not .

The list was not who i thought were the best middles, it was just made off the top of my head. the only criteria was that they held a middle title over the last 20 odd years. There was a few i could have included but when i reached ten i thought that was enough to compare to the current crop.

No offence Crusher, but i think Tito would have had the tools to handle Sergio, they are both very small middles.
As for AA, no current middle has the power to dispatch him and if any of them make one mistake against him it's all over rover. IMO.
Any way some interesting replies and it gives me a chance to read something else apart from the endless mind numbing Mundine V Geale threads.

Yeah Prowler I agree that Pavlik would of stopped Tito as Tito luved to brawl........agree Crusher great match ups out of that list..........I'm with you Kegsy Marv v Bhop would of been one for the ages & so would of Toney v Bhop.....thats one fight that woudlnt of disappointed.

I think Pavlik fighting Hopkins at 170 was a big mistake
I reckon if he never did that he would still be the main guy at 160, A showdown between Pavlik & Abraham would of been great.

Watched a terrific interview with trainer Joe Goossen talking about Michael Nunn & just how good he could have been.

He was 3-1 favourite to destroy Hopkins. It was a ploy to get Calzaghe to fight him. Bad move.
