Hardest hitter according to heavyweight journeyman Marcus Rhode

Marcus lived about 3 blocks from me when I was in Russellville AR. Not the gretest boxer in history, but as a "professional opponent" he's faced a who's-who of boxing big names.

My guess is that it's the guy who caught him with the best punch that Marcus can remember which is not necessarily the same as the hardest puncher.

That said, I'm very interested to hear. I will guess Brewster.

I asked Marcus about Vitali (the answer I was expecting), he said no, not even close.
So wow...I guess Brewster is the closest thing we had to Earnie Shavers in this decade.

I'll take the opinion of a guy that's been hit by these killing machines over any "boxing expert" or tv comentator. They have an insight no one else has.

Brewster hits like a ton of bricks. I have heard that before, also.

I don't see why anyone would think Vitali was a big puncher, he has always been an accumulation arm puncher.
