If he were a younger man he'd probably do it. But he's said before he likes to give the people exciting fights and doesn't like Mayweather's defensive, negative style. On top of the fact Floyd's skill, size, and style made it so difficult for him.

Lol imagine if Floyd and Marquez never fought. People would say Floyds ducking him
Anyways its clear Marquez wants no part of the slick blackness. See Bradley Saw what happene to Cotto and Demarco. He wants guys he had a chance to hit. |

Cotto got 8 million, the last Marquez-Pacquiao fight did 80 million in the US alone, Arum can't be stupid enough to low ball Marquez.

Apparently, Pacquaio is interested in a 5th fight, and Marquez probably owes it to Pacquaio to give him one.
Pacquaio had no business getting in the ring with Marquez for the 4th time, and regardless, it would be a good fight that would generate plenty of money. He could fight Mayweather, but the reality is that Juan doesn't have the style to beat Mayweather. He could take all the steriods he wants, but it still won't give him the bobbing and weaving style necessary for a man of Juan's size and stature, to beat Mayweather. Even then, he would be outsized, and he doesn't have energy to implement such a gameplan. So, what's the point? Honestly, Guerrero is a more difficult fight for Mayweather than Marquez. The only chance Marquez has is if Mayweather makes some serious mistakes and tries to come foward and gets caught on his way in. Mayweather will obviously box Marquez carefully, using his reach, and footwork and it will be a replay of the first fight. Marquez only has a puncher's chance, and it's a small one. |

Completely different. Marquez hurt and stunned Pacquiao several times in previous fights, and he finally found that perfect shot in the 4th fight.
Mayweather's style will not change. Last time out, Mayweather stuck to his counterpunching style, forcing JMM, also a counterpuncher, to fight more offensively and thus taking him out of his comfort zone and game plan. Given the bad style matchup, Mayweather's superior speed, reflexes, size and his timing which is just as good as JMM's, it's a fight that will always be an uphill battle for JMM. Judging from the title of this thread, you're effectively scoffing at Marquez being called a warrior, despite a career spanning 62 fights, taking on some of the biggest names in boxing including Barrera, Pacquiao x 4, and Mayweather himself. Do you realise how much of a tit that makes you look? Another ESB armchair expert. |

Marquez did show some tactical improvements against Senchenko, but I don't think they'd be enough. Only in coming forward impressively against someone like Bradley would I hope for a rematch.

Because JMM and his PED maker knows Floyd would ask for an Olympic style testing until he goes to the ring and Heredia knows that's hard to beat. Plain and fucking simple.
