If Price beats Chisora, I can't think of another fighter that has cleaned up as much as he has on the domestic scene.

Looks like its a case of literally cleaning out Britian and Europe and then moving onto the world stage.

The way people want Price to step up so quick is stupid.

He has had 4 domestic level fights, now he is having a couple of probably about european level fights, if we moves on to world level by 2014 that is a success.

When has Chisora ever boxed someone's head off? Bar ***ton II, actual boxing skills have been one of the things he has neglected. He didn't jab his away in against either Helenius or Vitali and was able to march inside so often because both of his opponents neglected their jab too as well as each carrying injuries. His plodding, limited punch range and lack of power have all been shown up when he's stepped up in class. So Chisora 'boxing his head off and stopping him' is without doubt the least likely scenario in this fight.

Let's not make Chisora out to be something he's not. He beat an average Helenius but lost comfortably lost to Haye, Fury and Vitali. He's better than the likes of Skelton & Harrison so at the upper end of domestic class but nothing more than that.

Totally agree, I just think people are excited about him as a prospect and impatience is driving them to want to see him in big fights soon. As much as a really despise Maloney, if the next year goes as he plans Price'll have been well managed.

At times he worked his jab pretty well against Vitali and without question, gave him his hardest fight since his comeback, something which a domestic class fighter couldnt do.

Neither could a domestic fighter fare as well as he did in the Helenius fight.

He won a few rounds for sure but he never looked like winning. Against an injured and aging Vitali, it's hardly a great achievement to be honest. It's only been highlighted so much because the rest of the Heavyweight title challengers' 'efforts' have been so pitiful.

I'd class Sprott as domestic level and reckon he'd beat Helenius to be honest, especially a one armed Helenius like Chisora faced.

He'll be a test for Price because it's a step up from the likes of Skelton but Thompson will be a harder fight. For a top prospect, as Price looks to be, it would be to be expected that he stops him IMO.

To make this fight really competitive Chisora needs at least 2 or 3 fights before Price (and not chubby Latvian scrubs). He's had a very hard schedule for the last couple of years and he needs to rebuild physically and mentally (after going 36 rounds with Fury/Helenius/Klit being bombed out by Haye must have done some harm to his psyche?)
