No one wants to fight Pulev at the moment though. A fight between him and Price is a genuine 50/50 fight with very little upside for Price- unless it's for a mandatory shot at a belt there is no reason for Price to take the risk.

The upside is that if he beats Pulev then he can be considered to be the best of the rest......Why is it desirable or acceptable for fighters to try to sneak into title fight contention without putting in the effort.

Pulev is fighting Adamek in an IBF Eliminator, a fight with Price would be a step back for him.

I don't see what is in it for Chisora really. He makes noises abut going for a world title again but going in against Price so soon after the run of fights he has had would just be stupid.

When Price beats Thompson, he should look to be in the mix with the round-robin of fighters fighting for the right to lose to a Klitchsko.

This is a fantastic chance to see what Price is made of. A difficult contreversial character who is dangerous and tough. Price would be pushed to the limit especially as the rounds go on and he would need to show proper class to finish Del Boy.

I think this is a great fight and one that Price needs. As long as Chisora turns up in shape and motivated then he can cause Price all sorts of problems.

Chisora isn't getting his British boxing license back. So i think you can pretty much rule out the fight anyway. Which is a good thing for Del Boy, he'd only get stopped again.
