Could be good PR fight for Khan in the UK. Khan knocking out the guy that beat Ricky and put him into permanent retirement and all that shit. Not as if Khan is as popular as he should be in the UK given his level.
Easy nights work and gaining some kudos from Ricky lovers at the same time.

Good fight for Khan. A friendly stylistic match-up against a recent world champion with a bit of name recognition after beating Hatton.

Hopefully he & Brook both win & we get a monster fight in the summer.

Not a bad fight. Especially if he moves up to 147 for him. He needs to get used to fighting guys that are similar to him in height and reach. Something he seems to struggle with. Wise match-making.

Think khan wants hi down at LW, sure i read it somewhere.
Nota bad fight but even hatton, who was a fraction of his former self was in line to beat svenchenko untill the stoppage.
Khan should muller him, easy, svenchenko is fairly low level world class, really just euro class

Would be weird if this is true...all the talk of rematching Garcia and sticking at 140 then he jumps up a division to face Senchenko?? Strange.

Some are underestimating Senchenko on here.

His greatest win is Nuzhnenko.

This Nuzhnenko.
BORKED

...and Senchenko vs. Nuzhnenko was a life and death war.

If y'all think it's wise to get in with someone like Garcia or Matthysse, then you're whack.

It's a very suitable fight at this stage.

It's a good fight for Khan if he fully intends to move up to 147. This would be a good match with minimal risk to see how he handles 147 in terms of power, range and general strength.

If it isn't his intention to move up to 147 right away then this is a pointless fight... Apart from the money/easy to market aspects, of course

Suitable, yes.

I just anticipate it getting hyped like mad when Slav gets shredded, as though he weren't a former paper titlist who's very lucky to have caught an over-proud man on an ill-advised comeback to stamp a name like Hatton on his resume.

There's a huge difference between a Senchenko and a Matthysse. There is some middle ground in there and that's the type of fighter Khan should be fighting. Beating up a joke of an opponent like Molina or Senchenko doesn't help Khan progress. He needs tricky or difficult fights, where he has to rely on his new found abilities to win, rather than absolute mismatches were he can afford to revert back to his old flaws and still win by a landslide.

It looks like Alvarado has been signed to fight Rios again, but he'd have been a good opponent. Ajose is another who would pose a good test but not be a major threat. Allakhverdiev looked alright against Guzman, so maybe him? Josesito at 147lbs would be fine. Mike Jones, perhaps?

There are plenty of guys out there who are in between a 'walkover' and a fight you'd expect Khan to lose. Not only would it be better for the fans if that was the opponent, Khan would learn more from being in the ring with someone who asks him a few questions.
