He beat a Mancini that didn't look the same himself after the Kim fight(and had been coasting for a couple years with easy fights).

Got a ton of hype that he didn't really earn, looked like he quit rather than be outright knocked out against Rosario and then got bogged down in a couple of tough fights with Pendleton who was better than his record suggested.

Quite why he was hyped as having such a granite chin i've never been able to figure out.His wins against Mancini certainly showed good toughness, but were mostly brought about by his compact straighter punching and tighter guard being a good foil for Mancini's telegraphed looping punches.2nd fight was actually very close imo.

Mancini has a reasonable argument for winning the second fight.Even the first fight was a back-and-forth war that was pretty close at the time of the stoppage.

Bramble couldn't handle punchers IMO. He completely fell apart after feeling Rosario's power, and later against Tszyu he basically just "quit" and silently agreed to go the distance after taking a few solid punches.

He must be one of the most prematurely hyped "granite chins" ever.

I think Oleg Maskaev takes that award.
