His skills and power are top notch. The kid can box but even boxers get put into hard fights and its only a matter of time before he's in one. His defense isn't great. Not terrible but he can be hit. The kid might have more heart then Gatti but no killer instinct but its also pretty likely he doesn't push a fight because he just doesn't have the mentality of a fighter.

Remember that Garcia made an enormous jump up in class tonight. Any tweaks he needs to make are forgiveable.
Stepping in with a 1-2 is pushing the action?

And keeping Salido in the fight when he had numerous chances to end it is not smart. Salido is dangerous if you have him hurt early you try and finish him you don't let him stick around.

Would Doniare get hit by those shots in the first place? No ****ing way.
Wow...well we can agree to disagree, the time will come. Bro if you want to stick to this re****ed idea, I honestly don't give a ****, no need to argue his performance/and previous performances, speaks for itsel/themselves.

Well find me someone else who reaches the levels he has, and beats the ****ing **** out of a champion like Salido without the "mentality of a fighter".

Tell me what's re****ed about my idea? Its re****ed to think when a fighter is over cautious even when dropped and rocking a fighter numerous times just might not have a fighters mentality? You really think this kid will never be in a tougher fight then he just was? Now that is re****ed.

Lol...are you autistic? Maidana would be Ortiz's "Salido", in your ****ed up comparison. Beyond that Ortiz is clearly unstable and has mental problems, Gar is just as clearly does not. Again...I don't care if you want to cling to this obviously stupid position, time will tell.

Yeah because Salido is a boxing god.

And no one was questioning his mentality in the slightest before hand.

Like I said, it's a fine line with someone as dangerous as Salido. People have tried to finish Salido after dropping him before, and he ends up knocking them out. Not to mention Salido's head movement reduced Mikey's accuracy from time to time.

Given Garcia is mostly a defensive distance fighter, stepping in with hard shots in spots that buckled Salido is a sign of pressing.

And again, he made a huge jump in quality of opponent. Any mistakes are forgiveable. A rematch (given Salido proves he deserves one in another fight) would be interesting to see how aggressive Mikey becomes.
