Pirog is probably the best fighter that is willing to fight Golovkin but I'd like Pirog to have a comeback fight first as he's coming off a serious injury.

personally i would still like to see him next vs Sturm in germany, the Daniel Geale vs Mundine winner in australia or vs the Peter Quillin -Guerreo winner in the US.
after that he should go for winner of the rematch between Chavez Jr and Martinez |

I'm bored with West European Fighters and their Australian/South African counterparts. Golovkin has more opportunities in SMW and LHW than he does at MW. Fight Pirog, sure, and maybe even Geale but the big fish - Sturm, Chavez Jr., Quillin, and Sergio Martinez aren't coming.
The only interesting options I see for him that are possible are Pirog (who is Russian, a legit 160 contender), and Austin Trout at 158. The Trout match is, I think, the best option for both fighters. Trout is looking for stardom and is a big boy at 154. GGG needs to prove he deal with quick, intelligent fighters. They are both trying to break their respective ceilings. GGG v Trout would be PPV and good for both fighters in America. If GGG has four fights left - Trout, Pirog, Geale, Ward. Would be a campaign for sure. |

After last nights performance plenty of the midrange Middlweights will be knocking at his door.
But HBO's attempt to sell us a Ward Vs. Golovkin fight failed miserably. (By having Andre call his fight) |

Someone said he has to fight Rubio after Guerrero, cant make that until late this year, early next year. I think its either Pirog which is very risky or Geale in the summer.

I feel GGG vs Pirog will be next.
Geale will go down the Mundine route and I know Sturm is fighting for IBF eliminator. A Sturm bout will likely be the more financially appealing and winnable fight for Geale. So I dont see that match happening this year. |

rosado did little fighting and a lot of moving and running, trying to survive. still he was bloodied badly after rd2 and a complete mess by the end of it -mostly by the use of a jab. now, who wants to sign up for that deal. Not many

with HBO and (according to Steve Kim) NBC sports looking to potentially air one of his fights, I think someone like Peter Manfredo Jr will get a shot in a stay-busy fight for GGG in 2013.
