Its funny how Garcia was praised for his work on Salido, but many thought Golovkin performed poorly!

Garcia got hit WAY more than Golovkin and didn't stop Salido.

Golovkin hardly got hit and landed very well on an opponent that was on the run.

Its much easier to hit somebody coming at you vs. somebody running from you. If Rosado had tried to impose himself on Golovkin it would have ended brutally and quick.

Golovkin was easily the most impressive fighter televised that night. He just didn't outperform the hype that surrounded him.

Agreed. Golovkin's hype is almost too much for his own good.

People try to find something to criticize about a fighter with huge hype like Golovkin rathen than look objectively.

Eh, that's cool. I'm ready for him to see big fights now, but I guess I'll have to wait. They originally said Pirog would be out 3 to 4 months cause of the ruptured disc. It's been way longer than that, hope he's okay. Cause those two need to fight.

Yeah, I thought after two fights on HBO and the crossover to the states it would be kind of a permanent thing but I like his decision to stay busy while they try and line up something bigger -- doing it by March is pretty impossible these days. The two "who would give a flying fuck" () fighters would make for a great fight, indeed. Pirog is a very difficult assignment. I was kind of leaning/hoping for Chavez or Quillin. Even Macklin.
