Got no problem with him as a person, seems like a decent guy
As a boxer he is absolutely horrible to watch, and he should have 3 losses on his record. The shameless St. Louis homecooking doesnt help people warm to him either |

I fucking hate watching his fights. He is probably the most boring current Champion in all of combat sports but the fact that he lost his dad at a young age on cancer like me makes me root for him.

He showed resilience and heart against Lucas Matthysse, and a pretty solid chin. Yeah, quitting against Bradley was disgraceful but you can't hold any gift decisions against him.
He's not the one filling out the scorecards, he's just there to box. Schooled Maidana and Bailey.

He reminds me too much of what I hate about Judah (who I've always kinda liked). They can fight entire rounds of going everywhere and throwing a single jab here and there without even slightly trying to hit the other guy. Meaningless jabs over and over. The worse with Alexander is that he's yelling trowing 'em...

I like him.
He's underrated in that people seem to think he has accomplished less than he has. He is only 25-26 years old and has stepped in with the likes of Witter, Urango, Kotelnik, Matthysse, Bradley, Maidana, and Bailey. ESB'ers praise other fighters for facing elite competition. How about Alexander? He should be getting unanimous praise for having "big balls." |

Sure like him fine, why not? Not a big fan or something, but as long as he's matched with strong aggressive guys he makes for good fights and as a person, he seems like a cool dude, likable and down-to-earth. Why have a problem with him? Because he got a few questionable wins? I mean shit, the guy doesn't fill in his own scorecards, he just trains his ass off and steps in there with ANYBODY that's put in front of him. Those are 2 things you can't say about every fighter out there...

Nah, I don't hate the guy but he's not great to watch, got 2 disgraceful decision wins against Kotelnik and Matthyse, bitched out against Timbo, does that horrible bark every time he throws a punch and Kevin Cunningham is one of the most annoying pricks in boxing.

WORD!! He has no idea behind his punches! He just throws those jabs without trying to connect. Same thing with his right hand.. Alexander is awful when it comes to finding spots to connect. He is missing that eye of the tiger.. |
