What would Floyd mayweather record be like if he took on the exact same fights that Pernell Whitaker took.
Pernell was a professional or 16 years and 5 months ended with a 40-4-1 (1) record in 46 fights |

Tito is a funny one. He's much bigger, stronger and harder hitting than Floyd, even though Floyd is much more skilled. I just remember that petrified look on Floyd's face when the old semi-retired DLH actually went for him. Floyd would be scarred of Tito, no doubt.

The real ones are can Floyd in his 16th pro fight beat Ramierez, and later in a rematch. Could he beat Chavez, A. Nelson, B. McGirt X 2, Vasquez, De Hoya, Trinaded |

He'd have a pretty good chance. Use the jab, step around and refuse to engage would be sensible tactics and prime Floyd made that his bread and butter.
That said, Trinidad had an excellent jab, a punch Floyd still struggles with. He was also a pretty accurate puncher and could work the body with real spite. So, a close fight, with Floyd winning seven rounds, but getting dumped on the canvas a couple of times to lose a close decision. |
