Marcel took a beating to the body against Arguello.He was definitely tough.
The bodywork is one of the main reaons i think that fight was a lot closer than some of you do, probably. |

I'd love for Legra-Arguello to surface and see how it went down. When you look at Arguello's record and see W KO1 there with the name Jose Legra in the opponent column, it just looks mental. Actually, it'd be interesting to come to a rough consensus on here as to how people rate him. Maybe in comparison to other champions? Say, ooh, I don't know.........BARRERA? Or, hmmm, let's see.......MORALES?

Arguello is in my 26-30 bracket P4P. One of the greatest punchers ever.
A league above the likes of Barrera, Morales, Hell I have him a good 10-15 spots above Olivares, and two or three places above Harada and Jofre. |
