Barker on Golovkin " I mean if there is anyone you wanted to swerve it would be him by the looks of it. I would get in there with him tomorrow and i mean that honestly " which really translates as " No ****ing way Eddie, i don't care how much you are willing to pay me, no ****ing way "

I think Barker beats Lee comfortably either by decision or late stoppage.
I really would like to see Barker/Macklin though. I like watching Macklin but he just doesn't seem to box to his strengths. He is a pressure fighter but he doesn't have a 12 round engine, he pours it on in the opening 6 rounds then gases and just looks tired and sloppy for the duration of the fight. It happened against Sturm, a fight I think he lost by at least two rounds, and Martinez, and also against Moore, he was also extremely fortunate to get the nod in one of his last European title defences too I think against Varon. I'd fancy Barker to frustrate Macklin early and box him to a decision using his long jab and his movement, especially in the later rounds when Macklin tires and gets ragged. |

People underestimating the Booth factor here. Yes Lee was trained by Steward but it seemed like Manny had taken him as far as he could and a change was due. Lee fits the mould of Booth type fighter too.
Let's see how Lee looks on the Frampton undercard first. Its a good, logical fight. |

Lee can't move as well as groves or haye but may have more skill than Barker and macklin and be able to outbox them comfortably from the outside. Ggg would kill lee

I consider Barker a higher class of fighter but I'd be happy for either guy to get a win, here. Great match, I think.
