With the return of PPV to Sky for Froch vs Kessler II, what would you like to see changed in the way PPV events are put together to try and create a better experience/value for the punter, and attract more fans to buy the event and follow the sport in the future?

Only big fights like unifications, have to have a solid stacked undercard and lower it to 9.99.
Never gonna happen though. Personally I just don't think they should ever bring it back. |

It's indefensible, IMO. PPV is all the worst things about sports broadcasting, especially when you're trying to broaden the audience for the sport. You take away access to the sort of fight that makes people fans.

I think a fight camp 360 style show would be great, the show that boxnation did for Haye and Chisora was pretty good for a UK attempt.
I think educating the average fan on the background of a fight is a good idea, showing Kessler vs Froch 1 the weekend before would be good, likewise I would like to see the supporting fight hyped and for it to be a competitive fight. I really dislike watching a ppv with people who will only watch the main event but I can understand it when it is a gash fight between two relatively unknown guys. |

So how does the sport generate the revenues needed for its competitors and promoters to make big revenues considering combat sports struggle to gain significant support from advertisers due to the sports setup.

I would like to see a build up show with live fights on Sky Sports beforehand to build into the PPV.
So you have a 2 hour show with 2 domestic titles fights and build up to the PPV from 6pm - 8pm, then you move to the live event. it gives exposure to some up and coming fighters and will attract more buys. |
