K1 Final 8 - March 15th, Zagreb - Cro Cop wins

Can't find a replacement date anywhere for the K1 Final 8 - it was scheduled for December 26th in the US - anyone else find anything??

"It was previously announced that K-1 WGP will be held in America on December 26, 2012. However it now definitely rescheduled for January 2013, the country-host is still to be confirmed."

The venue for the K1 Final 8 has been confirmed as New York. Date still to be advised though >>>

Nobody knows and New York seems off the table now as is the Spike deal.
Edwards and Morosanu mentioned February somewhere ... but we'll have to wait and see. Hopefullly soon ... somewhere!

Hes gonna have the home field advatage of it being in Croatia

Pretty low I'd say he hasn't really impressed me...his high kicks are gone and hes taken to spoiling lately with clinching and pushing off. He does have a chance though since there's no spong, reem, aerts etc in the tourny.

He's still explosive and has plenty of power. But he's facing new generation fighters here that are faster, have better reflexes, speed, ...

It only gives Ben 8 days gap between the Final 8 in Croatia on the 15th, and a chance to level it 2 wins a piece with Slowinski in Canberra on the 23rd.

I'd bet my life the OZ fight doesn't happen. That's way too short a time gap for a HW. HWs always always always pick up injuries when fighting especially in tournies like the K1. Toes, knees, cuts, bruised ribs, swollen shins you name it the HWs always seem to pick up something.

If Ben is successful in the K1 he could potentially be having 3 fights in the one night and then have only an 8 day break that included an international flight. I think you are right
