How many WBU fights took place between TWO British fighters?
It was an alternate 'British' title a lot of the time. Last two WBU fights in UK were in Scotland featuring Lee McCallister facing another UK based fighter (in front 0o 600 people at the Beach Ballroom, Aberdeen) |

A world belt (rather a big one or not) will put you in world rankings. A domestic belt wont. What's a better belt to win, the British belt or european? A world belt or a "world belt" is still bigger than a domestic or european belt.

You win a European title (EBU) you get a top 10 rating from the WBC and sometimes the WBA and IBF. You win a WBU title, any rating you had previously from WBC et al is lost...
