The big problem with Quillin's comments is that he ain't going to fight Geale or Martinez instead of Golovkin. In that context, it makes sense to fight Golovkin, because if he wins, a big payday follows (not that he beats Golovkin, but just saying he's not going to get a crack at Geale or Martinez without a big win.)

Man Kid Chocolate is bugging. To think that he is scared of Triple G is ridiculous though, this is a guy who was getting it on in the streets well before he got it on in the ring. Hopefully the fight does happen one day.

Absolutely. There will be, at least, a clear number 2 in the middleweight by the end of this year, with a possible Geale vs Golovkin fight on HBO in August from what I'm hearing if he gets past Mundine (which he will)

I personally think Chocolate is a very legitimate top 10 middleweight and possibly top 5.
That said he clearly wants to avoid GGG for now. Nothing wrong with that though. Neither does anyone else in the top 10 want GGG. |

I like quillen as a person,His humbleness won me over but this shit right here is the reason I dislike him as a fighter in the first place.A boxer especially a champion shouldn't have a say on who he fights just the best. It's clear he want's no part of Golovkin. What he really meant was "An ass beating doesn't make sense for me".

The idea that Quillin is holding out for Martinez is somewhat laughable since he's actually turned that fight down before. And people are correct in stating he has an inflated opinion of himself; even before he won a belt he was giving interviews saying the titlists in the division should have to fight him in Brooklyn because he refused to go abroad.

Seeing how Quillin was outboxed by N'Dam, this might all be moot given Guerrero's ability and decent power. With the fight being post-poned another couple months, just more time to work with Virgil Hill.
