I dunno, something like Beta Alanine could be potentially useful. Obviously on a regular basis. Whether it would have great effect taking it before the fight as opposed to 1 hour before the fight, I'm not sure about, but it would seem as good a time as any.

This Booth move is not working for Aydin. The Dark Lord is showing himself to be rather one-dimensional here. Why would attempt to make a guy like Aydin box off the backfoot. |

I think Aydin needs to be getting inside, not fighting at range trying to counter. i know that is Booth's game, but it's clearly not working. Where is plan B? Get inside and rough the guy up. Or else he's getting nothing from this fight. Too easy for Karrass.

I'm not in any position to criticise a trainer, but why would Adam try to change what Aydin has been doing throughout his career?
He should have worked on subtle things and to his style. Just don't understand it. |

Well that's where the fighters level of intelligence is measured, but he's clearly been given a style by Booth and hasn't worked. Adam should really tell him to go back to what he does.

You guys are talking like Soto-Karass ain't the bigger, stronger guy though. It's quite probable Aydin CAN'T get inside and stay there for too long. I'd presume he would if he could, because he's usually a come forward stalker/brawler. He hasn't put a dent in the guy, but Soto's body shots and overall physical presence is troubling Aydin. So that's the problem, not what Adam Booth may or may not have done inside a few months.

Aydin had a bit more success in the 8th, but he needed a higher workrate much earlier. Needed to get inside and let his hands go. Not stand at the end of Karass's jab waiting to counter.

That's a good point TFFP, but Maidana was a smaller individual and since everyone talks about Aydin as a hard puncher, you'd assume the comparison between Maidana and Aydin could be made, and Maidana was able to get in and do what he wanted, so I think it's more to do with what Booth has gotten Aydin to do.
