Apparently there are problems behind the scenes going on. Hearn wants it as PPV and to count as one of his Sky dates but Sky are saying if its PPV then it doesn't count as one of the 20 dates.
Hopefully this will be sorted by February the 4th when the first press conference is. |

What the lad said above, why not give Dave Coldwell 1 date and see what he can do with it. We'd all watch it that's for sure.

Don't Matchroom technically sell sky 20 dates (as they take all the costs)? So what's the problem with them selling a date that belongs to another promoter

If true I agree with Sky it should be seperate as PPV wasnt part of the deal.
Surely Hearn can put on another show ffs! If not he's no fan man like he says he is. |

I don't see how Eddie could argue it's a contractual date - it's not on a standard platform. But I'm sure the lawyers will make a fortune from this debate.

Hearn would need a grand total of one fighter on the card for it to be a co-promotion in name, even if everyone else on the card was a Coldwell fighter. Throw Scotty Cardle or someone on a Coldwell card with Dave doing the rest of the card. Sure he'd jump at the exposure.
