Briggsy, I don't know...using the "level of performance against quality" criteria of swingin, sure two close epic battles with prime Adamek looks nice...but in terms of his actual W column there's much left to be desired. Kelly, Drews, old Castro...is that enough to push him ahead of Choc? |

Understandable when you realise his big mouthed fans are probably too embarrassed to post on this section of ESB after the months of utter shite they have spouted .

![]() I kinda figured they had the sort of all-terrain impervious delusion that braves all elements and keeps on trucking. I could swear within minutes of Garth knocking him out there was a thread made to the effect of "no matter, he's still only a victory out from a world title shot "(even crazier is that he was actually within two...) |

So then is everyone of a mind that Tony Sr. is tops in the family?
He racked up a lot more losses and (I think) never became the same draw or ticket-seller...but he did mix with a higher level. Griffith and Moyer may be his trump cards. |

Without doubt one of the most over rated fighters Australia has ever seen had a Crack a few times at real World Class Fighters and was soundly beaten each time being TKOd by Ottke was an embarresment,a good honest Fighter but way short of World Class.!!!

He certainly rates as an obnoxious flawed self centred clown with a huge chip on his shoulder who continually talked himself up but failed to deliver.
He had one last chance at redemption when GGG offered to fight him in Sydney for a vacant title. Mandy went missing in action. |

Choc is clearly head & shoulders above any Australian fighter as a cash generator. The ATG of opponents purses.
He got more Aussie fighters bigger paydays than any promoter or manager that I can think of, & that includes break even Bill, combined. Choc invested more in Oz boxing, than he invested in his own ambition to achieve his most lauded ambitions. I have always suspected that Khodar's plan was money first & career second & by the time the penny dropped, Choc's ship had sailed, so it became more of the same. Great career as a national boxing publicist. Fabulous career as a purse generator. Boxing career. Not so great. (by opponent) ![]() JMO |
