Yea he won a turkey and a bottle of wine in one last xmas in the office draw ,
Bazil i don't hate Mundine in any way shape or form (in fact i quiet admire the condition he got himself into for this specific fight ) but i scored it 120-108 and i scored it as fairly and openly as i could , Geale was the aggressor the entire fight with Mundine running away from him for the best part of every round with Geale adding up the greater scoring punches , hence my end of fight tally up , in no way shape or form did Mundine garner up enough trade in any round to be given the nod at the bell imo , the only round i questioned regarding the shut out was round 4 and i like to think 'im astute enough to trust my instincts on it . |

Yeah 119-109 for Geale, he put on a truly world class display of technical boxing and obviously had a fight strategy that he stuck to. But for mine there was still something missing in the way he won the fight that would put him up the top of the middleweights, not sure if it was his inability to finish of Mundine, but I felt that it was not Geale at his very best.
Still he dominated and deserves all the accolades |
