I guess in terms of Mundine's walkout being a bit more showy is probably an accurate reflection of the difference between the two. Geale, a down to earth guy. Mandy, all bells and whistles. You also would have noticed Mundine walked out with the population of Lakemba as an entourage whilst Geale had the necessaries. Its all intimidation
Haha cheers it was an experience. I've seen a fair few UFC shows out here and a few live events but there isn't much boxing on the tv. Went along early and it was packed from start to finish.

Personally I thought he would have the connections to have a better quality of dancers as part of his entrance.
For mine though no one comes close to Arama Tabuai when it comes to an indigenous boxers ring entrance, he looks like a headhunter.
Do you have any links I couldn't find a video on youtube.

I more wanted to know what people thought of their entrances in comparison to most ring walks and also as reflections of aboriginal culture. As in were those entrances the kind of displays that would have some relevancy to aborignal people?

I thought they were quality because I think that tribal, warrior stuff really suits the boxing ring. Just like the Haka it gets you pumped.

At one point Sonny and I both trained with Arnell Baritillo. I wish I had some footage of some of our sparing sessions. The time he threatened to shoot me was memorable.
