man man man. i missed Durant! carmelo's out. i love kobe, i also like harden. truth be told, because we are talking about the first half here. so tony parker could be there, westbrook, and of course rondo...

I was going to reply and say it was a good post until I thought, "Where the hell is Durant?". Westbrook has been off with his shot for most of this first half. Parker is a good choice. Rondo would be one as well even though he is going to miss the rest of the season.

Sometimes when he jams confidently, Jeff Green looks so powerful and nigh unstoppable.

Then he will become a timid non-entity for prolonged stretches.

Weak soft as **** Gasol was sealing his man in the post and boxing out for rebounds. So why can't dwight? It's nothing to do with strength is just good basketball fundamentals. Dwight has NONE. He is a shit basketball player.

That lumbar disc. They always knew about it. (The hope was to deal with it in the summer)

It's why he fell so far in the draft.

Better to get it over with now in a down year.

nobody is accusing Erik Spolestra of being a genius here. The owner of the Heat needs to think about replacing Riley if he doesn't fix this himself.

James "Flight" White is going to be in the Slam Dunk Contest.

The contest went from "maybe I'll watch it" to "CAN'T MISS".

The greatest slam dunk contest dunker in the history of basketball. That's who.

If Gerald Green could be in it, we would get the rematch.

Happy for Gay want my fellow Marylander to do well. Also a Derozen fan and have been complaining about his assists so hopefully with Ross and Gay he can get no less than 5-6.

Calderon is arguably the best pure PG in the game I'm not a fan but hope him well and wish Knight blossoms and Monroe does too.

Should be interesting though Pistons or Raps may not make POs for another couple of yrs. Celts problems and all they still could be 7 or 8 but this yr Bucks will get in and be a higher seed if Celts even make it.

Done to death but I'm sorry, if Kobe was a leader Lakers wouldn't be this horrible. I knew things were bleek when guys were saying "what til Nash gets back!" as they still had Kobe and Howard. I mean Lebron took 07 Cavs with no coach so dont bring up that and no star player(Mo? psshhhhh). Not gonna use Jordan standard as no one now will touch that.

Dont get Howard. Its a mental thing. Maybe these injuries are just getting to him but still Varejao being better than him this yr is no excuse. Or an old Duncan. Or Randolph with no vertical. Speaking of Randolph he was getting 14 a game at one point. Blake can jump over cars but cant get 13-15 brds?

Hoping for that but lets not forget White is in his 30's though he's still a freak. He won last time but this time I think Green takes it. It still should be entertaining unlike last yrs disappointment. TBH I only look for rising stars, 3pt shootout, and dunk contest only if Green and White are in it. All star is just padded with who fans are blinded by and not who are the best players.

The Celtics, reeling from season-ending injuries to two players in the last week, spent Saturday meeting with Greg Oden to find out where the oft-injured seven-footer stands in his own rehabilitation.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Celtics president Danny Ainge’s characterization of the meeting.
“It was just a chance to get to know Greg a little better,” Ainge, president of basketball operations, told CSNNE.com on Saturday. “We meet with free agents all the time.”
“It was a good conversation,” said Ainge, who added that no contract offer was made to Oden. “When he has been healthy, he has been a good player in our league. Like I said, this was just a chance for us to get to know him better. That’s all.”
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] more from Ainge.
“We wanted to talk to Greg to see where he is physically,” Ainge said.
“We’re just finding out as much as we can and letting Greg know what we have here,” said Ainge. “He’s not ready to play now, but he’s someone who’s very interesting.”

Danny needs to be looking at guy who can play now.
