Damn, what a tragedy, you can tell this guy had the full package to become an explosive offensive fighter and future world champion easy.

RIP Omar. There was a reason why guys like Floyd, Margarito and Mosley loved to spar him.

I would have loved to see him step-up in a year or so against somebody like Keith Thurman. Talk about an explosive fight. He had promise, an exciting style, a personality, a real charisma. The guy didn't pull any punches. He'll be missed.

promotional troubles....i recall reading that he was so disheartened at one point he was considering jumping to MMA, boxing can really fuck with a young talent if the promoter doesn't care enough about his talented fighter. such a shame that he never even got the chance to prove his mettle.
