Is he due to fight soon, what's prompted this out of nowhere?

I haven't seen too much of him, but he sounds like a typical heavyweight prospect. They have to be protected to a certain degree, even a solid chinned heavy can be laid out cold by most opponents if they get caught clean.

He can't be that bad though, otherwise he would be in the next Prizefighter.

If his fight with Lucas Browne gets rescheduled, then I'm afraid Mr Towers goes bye bye..

Richard Towers is a 'nice guy' is he? Any of you fellas met him? Is this the same guy that served 6 and a half years of a 13 year sentence in the slammer for being part of a gang that kidnapped and tortured a man for 3 days at gunpoint with a hammer, steam iron and stun gun?

He wasn't involved in the torture and served his time.

I've met him lots of time - he's a really friendly guy.

The opening poster seems to have finished slagging Kid Galahad and has moved on to one of his stablemates. Hmmmmm.

You do know that man was a major drug dealer & Towers wasnt involved in the torture?

Towers is a nice guy, he's served his sentence & has turned his life around completely. I wish him all the best.
