One plausible theory is that tickets for this have sold shit (For some reason American fans don't turn out to watch their champions) so they've taken this right off the bill and gone ahead with the card. This would mean that Devon's and Brook's purses won't have to be paid out if it and they might break even.

Lets face it, an all American unification fight between Bradley and Alexander couldn't sell shit in Detroit. Since quitting in that fight and being boring since then, how is Alexander going to attract detroit fans to see him against some unknown Brit.

Just throwing it out there.

Of course, he could just be injured.

Alexander has fought and beat opposition levels better than any of the B and C class fighters Brook has been fed to pad his record. Alexander has no reason to fear, besides didn't Brook postpone the fight to Feb first with his own injury. Does that mean Brook was scared back then but now he is not?

Good point this could very well be the reason.

Bangin' post. I hadn't really thought all that deeply about it. You might be right, of course nobody would ever admit to it.

I like to think Alexander is just hurt. He stepped in the ring with Matthysse, I doubt he's afraid of Brook.

I've said on here many times i'm not convinced by Brook so your barking up the wrong tree with your 'allegiance' stuff.
Yeah I'm sure he was terrified...

The real reason Devon has suffered a 'bicep injury'...losing to Brook would put him out the picture of a payday against Floyd. He should be stripped.

I feel bad for Brook in this. Got himself in that kind of shape, all that hard work, only to be denied his shot. Alexander, while never a favorite of mine anyway, has gone way down in my estimation. Pulling out like that so late on is low. At least have the balls to admit that a bigger name was interested and maybe ask Brook to step aside for now. Don't pull this injury feigning bullshit.

Want to see him lose badly to Mayweather (if it happens) and then Brook in his next two fights.

Looks like my boy, lewishamboy, was right

Alexander is already confirmed, and I'm pretty sure Garcia has been told he's in the mix, too.
