Not a great fight at this point, Darchiniyan will give it his all but he's going to be outclassed and ko'ed again. Last time Darchiniyan was at/near his peak and Donaire was a prospect. Now Donaire is at his peak and Darchiniyan clearly on the downside, I don't think that Vic's chances are getting better here.
I like Darchiniyan and I'm glad he's getting anotehr big fight after knocking off Del Valle but this is not an HBO main event fight and Dan Rafael wrote yesterday that Donaire's fight will be the only fight HBO shows that night. Not surprising that Showtime has probably become a better boxing channel than HBO when they put on cards like this. |
