Duran by a long way, let's compare:
Duran FW/LW v Walker WW - Duran goes unbeaten picking up wins over greats, Walker is pretty much 50-50 against top opposition at - clearly Duran Duran WW v Walker MW - Duran beats and loses to a top 3 WW, Walker gets dominated by a top 3 MW and gets a gift against Tiger Flowers - large advantage Duran Duran LMW/MW v Walker LHW/HW - Walker clearly has the edge here with the draw with Sharkey and close fight with Loughran, wins over Mctigue, Risko and Uzcaudon. Duran ofcourse has the close fight with Hagler, the wins over Barkley and Moore Overall clearly Duran |

In Walkers favour, he was knocking out legit fighters who were 30lbs heavier than him, a complete monster. However, Duran climbed up post-montreal, past his prime and had taken Hagler to the last round. |

It is a tricky comparison, because they have slightly different p4p strengths.
In terms of overcoming a size disparity, Walker might just be the greatest ever. |

i've been avoiding this thread like the plague.
I mean you have Duran dominating a division and then moving up with varying degrees of success. You have Walker beating the lhw champ whilst reigning ww champ (even srr failed to do this) and later drawing against the hw champ after being mw champ for a while. very hard to compare. duran looks better on filma and has the srl victory, that might be enough to nick it. |
