You think the contract for the fight actually stipulates that he gets paid more if he loses?
I'm fairly certain that doing this would not make match fixing legal. |

Bothas last fight was against Pianeta who was 26-0.
Pianeta has since fought Dominguez who was 14-1 and stopped him in the first round. No fighter this millennium has stopped Botha in less than 8 rounds and he looked good at weigh in. The reason I think something stinks is solely because of the prices that the bookies have put up. Botha is a master of that turtle defence he uses and if this fight goes beyond 4 rounds Botha must win. Still the smell won't go away. |
