Lara has underwhelmed me a number of times. He's too inactive to keep GGG off him and gives up too much size and strength in this matchup.

I'm going to give Lara the benefit of the doubt and assume that he did hurt his right hand against Vanes. He still connected more often than Vanes.

With 2 functional hands and the knowledge he will never get Canelo, he might pull off his best performance yet. Whether thats enough against GGG remains to be seen.

I think Lara frustrates and gives anyone problems from 154-160 and GGG is very hittable, only he's always hitting you back too. I can see Lara build an early lead, but GGG will wear him down. GGG by MD in a competitive fight.

golovkin is overrated but u need to throw punches to win a fight, lara would run around the ring in circles and refuse to engage golovkin by UD, with lara getting rocked possibly dropped a couple of times.

Do you remember the context of Lara's callout? Pirog had just made a very large offer to Sergio. After Pirog said he'd be fine fighting Lara in Russia for the same money he pays his other challengers, Lara was not heard from again.

Well I don't think Lara ever has been close to a position to automatically command TV dates. And there would seem to be a reasonable expectation that the purse would be larger than that offered to the Martirosyans and Maciels, especially given all of the kvetching about lack of opponents willing to fight in Russia going on at that point in time.
