Round 1

Williams tiptoes to his left and puts out a jab. Botha points his lead toe in and takes short steps toward him, sideways. Jabs by Williams. Big overhand right by Botha, blocked as Williams backs up. Botha leaps in with a jab. Diving 1-2 to the body by Botha and Williams ties him up. Botha doubles a jab, too far out. Williams strafes left and thrusts a hard jab but misses wide of Botha's chin. A few light jabs to the body by Williams while moving. Williams again glides left and flicks an up-jab from below the waist. Botha crowds in close and Williams ties up again. Williams holds his right glove under his chin and carries his left straight down at his side. A few backhand jabs by Williams, missing. Double jab by Botha, short.

10-9 Williams

Round 2

Williams is ducking and jabbing the body, then careening to either side. Botha charges in and pumps his fists up top. Williams covers up and holds. Botha takes slow and deliberate steps in, jabbing. Double jab by Botha, Williams dancing away. 1-2 by Botha, grazing as Williams pulls back. Jab and clubbing right behind the ear by Botha. Williams leaps away from a jab. Botha tries to pin him on the ropes with jabs and rights to the head but Williams squirms free. Botha trades jabs with Williams at mid-range.

10-9 Williams

20-18 Williams

Wow. Whatever else happens, I'm very impressed by Williams. Never thought he would hang this well from a boxing stand point.

Botha's best chance was in these opening rounds. He hasn't done much so far but got cut. SBW can just use his jab and win a very wide UD.

Round 3

Williams is boxing on the outside, keeping well clear of Botha's stubby reach and jabbing him in the gut. Botha tries a charge every half minute or so, putting together several jabs and catapult rights but getting slipped or smothered. Lots of movement and ducking by Williams. The jab to the body is automatic. Botha watches him from outside. A few slow jabs from Botha.

10-9 Williams

Hold the show man, he's looking decent against a well past it Franc Botha i don't think that qualifies him as a great fighter under any circumstance.

Round 4

Williams is jabbing up and down while circling. Botha follows, and tries a diving overhand right. Williams twists away from it and repels Botha with a push. Williams keeps circling, now counter-clockwise. Botha keeps closing the distance but getting tied up before he can punch. Nice 1-2 to the face by Williams. Botha is knocked back as Williams unloads more combos! Botha gnashes his teeth and sticks out his tongue, showing bravado. Botha keeps coming. Williams resumes circling. Botha steps in and touches Williams with his jab but misses his overhand right past Williams' shoulder as they press together. More circling, jabbing and clinching by Williams. Botha jumps in with a high right hand, short. Williams springs back on his toes, then puts in a lead right to Botha's grill. Williams is jabbing and hooking on the back foot. Botha walks him to the ropes and gets a right hand to the chest.

10-9 Williams
