It's probably still Leapai for now despite his shocking performance against Kingpin.

Lucas "Amir Mansour from Down Under" Browne simply hasn't stepped up to a proven level to be in the conversation yet. His crowning achievements to date are Jason Gavern and Colin Wilson.

Haumono should get a shout. Maybe #2 or co-top dog with Leapai.

Then at the next tier you've got Browne, Meehan and MDM - and then it's down to dregs the likes of Kid Coalminer himself and his colleague Tilyard.

SBW in a year or two - provided he spackles his D - could be on his way to emerging as the forerunner. (of the continent of Australia, though he is a Kiwi

)

Pretty weak domestic crop tbh. No reason he shouldn't wind up standing tall.

As for Cooper - he's got no chance of becoming the #1 Cruiser in NZ, let alone Meganesia.

Shane Cameron would blitz him inside two minutes.

Pitt, Green, or even Aloua would separate him from his senses without breaking a sweat.

SBW was an Aussie after 8 rounds but we've got him pencilled back in as a kiwi after the fiasco.
Russell Crowe wins an Oscar and is an Aussie, chucks a phone and is a kiwi again.
Although he is a Wallaby I would consider Coopers current status as kiwi under these conditions.
Shane Cameron is an Anzac.

Isn't Derrick Milham the WBA official in Australia? The same offical that had Mundine winning the first Geale fight 116 - 113.

Just saw the post-fight interview with Nasser on Fox...man, I would have thought after so many years of pulling strokes he would be a better liar than that

When asked why the fight only went for 10 rounds when it was advertised as a 12-rounder he kept saying "Go ask them" and "the WBA didn't officiate this fight so they have no say in it".

When asked if he thought Botha's camp had the right to be angry at the fight being shortened he kept saying Botha had thrown illegal punches. Then he said "Look who's got the belt brother" and walked off

Pure deflection and no real answers - so obvious he had the ace of changing the length of the fight up his sleeve in the event SBW was starting to lose. No doubt it was planned well in advance hence no WBA official being there.

He's pure scum and I see where Mundine got a lot of his catchphrases from.
