Adam Booth - Psycho but Quality
Calm, collected, short and sharp. Everything a fighter fighting at 100mph in a fight needs.
Top trainer. Talks to his fighters like babies. Gives them space to breathe and relax. No confusion in the corner, and he makes sure they get it just by being simple and squeezing it all into short stops between rounds. He paces himself along with the fighter. Top trainer Personality Legend. |

IMHO i think Booth should of asked Lee to fight centre ring and lead off and keep Fitzgerald turning. Foot on the outside of Fitzgeralds lead foot would of helped as well.
Think that was a job made a great deal harder, if anyone deserves credit it's Fitzgerald for a great effort and will to win but ''progression'' sorry Adam. Andy was beating a world champion last year before he was stopped. Tonight he laboured to victory against a guy 3 levels and then some below partly because the so called tactics allowed Fitzgerald to gain success. But yeah nice and calm in corner.. |

Fitzgerald brought it and Lee didnt seem to be listening attentively anyway. He was clumsy and lazy and Fitz was all over it. I actually think Booth is a top trainer when the fighter listens with 100% concentration, he is a calming and soothing voice. Its the reason why Groves has done as well as he has done, some fighters need to be spoon fed like babies. Some like to listen to themselves more before "outside" advice. |

Nice and Calm yes but if Andy wasn't listening then Booth should of upped the urgency. |

But I don't personally think Booth was the problem tonight. Lee was. He let Fitzgerald in. |

Adam Booth gels with one style, and that style is David Haye, and any other fighter with David Haye's attributes.
David Haye & Adam Booth are essentially connected. Groves & Haye are very similar. They have very similar innate abilities. |

Lee needs a proper strength and conditioning coach more than anything, if Booth can sort his innate stamina issues then Lee will be a better fighter. Andy Lee's problems are not sorted in between rounds in the corner, they exist before he even steps into the ring.

He's certainly a good trainer. He's off top class for me though, where guys like SB, EBR and CS take up the great modern trainers title.
