Yes marketing, Thats a huge part of the NRL now whether you ignore it or not, Russellmus maximus giving a souffs hat to every celeb he meets, making them wear it, and they dont even know who the fuck the wabbitohs are lol. But i guess parading Oprah around sydney with a souffs cap was all heart, soul and pride...

I never denied that good marketing is integral to a club, thats why we've got 21000 members already this year & you've got about 47

All you could allude to with regards SBW was he's being doing heaps of marketing, FFS!!! Crowe has done hell of a lot more for his club than just be a marketing tool, SBW, thats all he is, he'll never love Easts / Sydney Goosters, Sydney city, he'll be back in the All Blacks team for the next world cup & ripping off more punters with his sham boxing nights
