I thought Frampton was just edging it but he really needed that big ko as Martinez seemed to be grinding him down at the time.

I agree. At the end of the 8th I was beginning to get worried for Frampton that Martinez was still look fairly Strong.

To be completely honest at the time of the stoppage I could sense a momentum change, I thought Frampton was beginning to look like he was in the shit! I dont remember giving Kiko anymore than a single round 1-6 and then he began to come on

I had it even. Frampton did well to keep it together under that pressure.

Not sure but I think Martinez is just one of them fighters .He could lose the whole fight then 1 punch could spark his opponent . Just his style ,

Frampton was cleary winning though .I posted in the RBR thread Frampton was starting to stand in front of Kiko .Then he got on his bike 2 secs later and knocked him out in the next round or 2.

Dont think Martinez was coming back into it at all. Frampton was startin to hurt him. He was shifting him and knocking Martinez off balance with his punches. There was only one way that fight was goin. Martinez looked more dangerous in the first few rounds.

I think you have it right here. Frampton was starting to lay it on him a bit, I didn't see the one punch KO stopping him but the pressure was starting to tell. You guys do know you can be winning a close fight comfortably on scorecards right? I thought Martinez pressured a lot early but was it effective pressure? Not for me. Each round was close and competitive but Frampton won the majority of them
