Default Jack Johnson always "scared" Jim jeffries

The reason why this statement is valid is because back in 1902 or around that year Johnson koed Jeffries younger brother right in front of him. Jack then said to Jeffries "the same way I koed him I will Ko you". Wow. talking about mind control.

I think its the contrary if Jeff was afraid he would not have come back at the age of 35 after a 5 year lay-off and losing 80lbs with no tun-up...overconfident is the word and to show you that mind control does not always work without body control

Yeah, but Johnson had been KO'd a few fights before by Choynski and would be later beaten by Hart, two guys who scared Jeffries not at all.

And I believe that Jack Jeffries, for all his brother's abilities, only won a single fight as a pro.

Though Brady his manager said Jeffries often lacked confidence, I don't think Jeffries was ever physically afraid of any man.
However the prospect of possibly being the first white heavyweight champion to lose his crown to a black man did frighten the shit out of him imo.
Different thing entirely.

When Jeffries hauled his brother back to his corner ,and consciousness after Johnson had kod him, he is reputed to have said ,"wow that was a mighty thump", but realistically he knew he was several notches above his brother in ability.
