Duran did it, Armstrong did it, why not Floyd?
Floyds doesnt have the balls to fight threats at any weight(give him credit for fighting solid fighters early in his career but no prime atg by any means not even close),the weight isnt the issue his cautipus managing is.That's what separates those 2 from floyd/pac they fought the best no excuses.Floyds health is more important remember??.. .

One thing that surprises me, with all the cynicism about weight-cutting and PEDs on this forum, is that people are still very naive about height.

Most boxers are overlisted. Floyd is 5'8" or 5'9" in his dreams. Try 5'7". Marquez and Pac are 5'5" at best.

I don't know about long arms. 5'8 26 inch reach is normal. I'm 5'8 26 inch reach.

It's average..doesn't really give him that much of an advantage imo. At most he'll have 2-3 inches more than his opponents.

Mayweather is many things but lazy is none of it.

That being said, he's not a small welterweight either.
He's a small LMW.

A small WW is Pacquiao. He's a JrWW. He's a dwarf 150-lber.
Marquez is a small WW too. And Bradley (but it's too early to tell if he fills out good at WW).

rehydrating only 3 pounds isn't small?

If a 130 pound fighter rehydrated to 133 the day of the fight, I'd say he was small also

Yeah. Floyd isn't a top 10 ATG but his skills are!

What?

On sheer weight alone Mayweather and Pac are equal...

If anything, for Mayweather being "bigger" he is quite light.

He was enormous at 130 and 135, but at 147 and at his age, he's certainly not being lazy. He's still about average height for a welter, and well above average reach.
