"Cunningham's got all the tools; a former World Champion, good fighter, he's got a lot of skill. I'm looking to put on a devastating performance; the best of my career to date.” said Fury. "I'm absolutely ecstatic to be fighting at Madison Square Garden; it goes back in history and I can't wait to put my name with a long list of Champions who have fought there - I'm a historian of boxing myself so this is definitely the pinnacle of my career so far.”

Someone has surely reworded Tyson here, bit elegant for him that.

Excellent fight though, one Tyson can win.

Live on NBC? Big deal done by Hennessey for Fury there. It's a good fight for Fury and the build up to this will be great.

Interesting that this is an IBF Eliminator- have Fury's people given up on the WBC route?

Should be a good fight if Fury is better than half as good as he thinks he is.

I take It this is in the basement rather than the main arena, Still feel this is a poor fight for Fury though, USS is no Heavyweight.

Alot of cruisers have fought at heavy...see no problem with it tbh,not Fury's fault he's fucking ginormous in comparison to his opponents ... didn't hear too many complaints about Adamek fighting Vit or Haye fighting Wlad and Valuev (more recently) ... Wlad fighting Mormeck is a fucking huge joke in comparison to Fury - USS though.

I beleive it is at the MSG theatre, not sure of it's capacity. There is a huge size advantage to Fury, but i still think Cunningham will test him, as far as boxing skills are concerned Cunningham is Fury's best opponent yet.

Without getting all nafflad, it's a tremendous opportunity to get some coverage and profile on free American network television for Fury.

I have been to MSG's Theatre on many occaisions to catch the fights. It will comfortably hold about 7,000 fans. It's a great venue with bleacher style seating. In other words, the seats elevate from the ring.
