Maybe not live, them and Henessey probably can't afford it. They may just air the repeat the night after like ITV did with Froch's fight with Taylor.

Yes. Main Events tweeted they will.

Perfect time for them as well - 4pm EST/9pm UK.

normally Hennesey press releases mention Channel 5 every other sentence. the degale and fury ones didnt so things may be up in the air.

one thing thats very misleading about the press release is that it says the fight is on NBC in the USA. NBC is the equivalent of ITV over here. But the fight is actually on NBC Sports Network, a channel your need to subscribe to as part of a sports package.

No it's on NBC proper.

It would make sense for it to be in the afternoon in the US as I doubt NBC would show boxing prime time.

They don't say that every time. Cunningham/Adamek was on NBC (free TV) and this fight will be the 2nd show they've done on NBC. Read the story:

The fight will be broadcast at 4PM ET on NBC as a special 2 hour afternoon presentation of NBC Sports Fight Night.

Kathy Duva, Main Events CEO, “Giving Steve the opportunity to fight on NBC again – in a bigger venue for another shot at the #2 position in the IBF – after his controversial decision loss to Tomasz Adamek in December is what Main Events and Fight Night are all about.

The Cunningham/Adamek fight was also an afternoon card. As was the Leo Santa Cruz fight which was on free tv (CBS this time).

Christ, another promoter who is useless and can't afford anything.

Everyone hail Eddie Hearn.

Well it turns out you were wrong.
