I think Scott fought well, and while he's a pure boxer, he wasn't boring. He's a very good hw, but he will have a hrd time getting a shot at the title unless he can fight some contedersto get #1 contender status.

There is a silver lining to this, in a fucked up sort of way: Robberies are so common in boxing now, that a robbed fighter at this level generally doesn't have a problem landing a similar fight than he'd have gotten had he actually gotten the call.
We've seen it recently with Chisora-Helenius (Dereck got Vitali right after), and Cunningham-Adamek (Cunningham got a big fight with Fury straight away). Scott getting exposure, even though he was screwed, will help him get a bigger fight sooner rather than later. |

Malik was really impressive, far exceeded my expectations and I honestly can't see how anyone could score that fight for Glaskov.

I missed all this but I had a four fight accumulator and had Malik to win but they've got the result listed as "Push" and although the other three didn't pay much(Malik was the bet that made it worthwhile) I still have my stake and a small win.
I've never seen that before.Surely a draw would lose the bet for me? |

Nah. You're thinking of soccer betting. In boxing, a draw is generally a push unless otherwise stipulated because it's not a common enough outcome and bettors would feel cheated if both sides lost on a draw.
However, you take a prop a draw will usually lose. For example, if you had "Scott by 10 round decision" vs "Any other result," now the draw counts as "any other result." |

Come on guys, let's give NBC a break. They're still relatively new to boxing. They haven't mastered the art of protecting their fighter and making a shit decision look less like shit. Keep the faith though, they'll get the hang of it. Eventually. Especially if they continue to work so hard to do it.

i thought Scott said it well at the end, i also took note of that small ring, they threw USS into a small ring, Scott in a small ring.
Hopefully Cunningham gets more than a phonebooth at MSG. |
