When you're THAT rich anyway that you've made over $10m in your career AND YOU LIVE IN MEXICO where living is so cheap, why risk losing a fairytale ending to your legacy? No amount of money could compensate for that.

But how cheap is Mexico really when you have to hire bodyguards cause of the high crime rate and youre worth as much as Marquez is. Probably evens out with more expensive places and not mention these guys live luxurious lives. I do agree with you though. As entertaining as the 5th fight would be, Marquez doesnt need to prove anything. If Pacquiao wins its back to square one. At this point it is all about the money.

He beat convincingly manny twice in a row and recently handed him a brutally humiliating KO loss, so manny NEEDS him.

Marquez would be giving manny a shot at this point. If manny is serious, he'll take a pay cut for this oppourtunity

No....not even close... I'd say 10 Million is a good number for Juan. Yes...he beat PAC but he's not the draw. If JMM sticks to this number he really doesn't want the fight and doesn't care about the money. It's his way of saying...."I'm riding off into the sunset".

The truth is a 5th fight could undo everything he was able to accomplish by finally beating Manny. The 4th fight was brutal for him and was losing pretty bad before the devastating KO. Going back into the lion's den has a LOT of RISK but would offer him his biggest reward.

It's up to Juan to decide if it's worth it or not. From this demand of $20 million it doesn't look like the money is worth the risk for Juan. I don't blame him.

Beat PAC decisively for the first time in the 4th fight. The 3rd fight I felt Juan won...but it was hella close.

But even in the 4th fight PAC was winning and Juan was getting beat up something terrible before finding the counter that put PAC to sleep and finally getting Juan the win he's been seeking over his nemesis.

Lol how one lucky punch in that one second changed it ALL! In a fight where he was getting battered, broken nose, bloodied up face and there was still half of the fight left! SURE Roidquez u can have 20 lol.

GTFO you ****in idiot. He tooled him in the two fights before that as well. If that wasnt the case, why do you think they are always making rematches between the two? If Pacroid had soundly beaten him in the first three fights, there would be no need for more fights. Put your argument to sleep with your butt buddy, Pacroid.

It's what makes boxing so special. Dramatic, come from behind victories are sweet....but when they end in a split second in a fight that the other guy was on his way to being stopped is incredible.

So a loss to Pacquiao in a fifth fight would "undo" everything Marquez had been able to accomplish, but Marquez's win had no equivalent impact on what Pacquiao had done in the first 3 nor even in the rounds leading to the KO?

Tooled him? Not sure what you mean by that but if you mean they had some very close and competitive fights then I agree. Fact the 1st 3 fights could have gone either way....the 3rd fight I felt Juan did enough to get the nod but it was in no way a robbery or a dominant performance by either man.

The reason there were 4 fights is because ALL of them were so close and competitive....not to mention classics. The world of boxing like to see two ELITE level rivals going at it if they are producing high level stuff. Which these boys always give us.

Pac just has a death wish. That KO is going to haunt him until the next one. I guarantee that Pac goes down several times this fight and if he gets fiery and wants to trade goes to sleep again. My guess is they will fight just like they did the 3rd fight. Pac will use alot of movement and refrain from trading. However, JMM will time him like usual and drop him which will bring out the war.

In my eyes it wouldn't undo everything that Juan was able to accomplish by getting that KO....but for Juan I think he's struggling with knowing he accomplished EXACTLY what he wanted against PAC...albeit taking a brutal beating on his way to this accomplishment...but the money is a very tempting carrot being dangled in front of him. Losing to PAC won't affect JMM's overall legacy or anything he was able to accomplish outside of knocking Manny out....but it would be a thorn in his side if he takes the fight and ends up losing or getting KO'd himself. Walking away with the KO is very tempting as well.
