Marvin Hagler lost to Ray Leonard. That's taken a while. Feel better about it.
Na not quite favorite but I enjoyed his fights for a while. I dunno, I don't think he had any shot of having the judges go his way. Maybe I was too lenient on him, love Ireland, underdogs and work horses. I'd watch again.

I think Ali lost to Young ....but it was such a lousy fight and Ali was in such lousy shape and Young did not really press like he wanted to be champion enough to give enough of a shit either way.

I know its a minority view but to my shame I scored the first Lewis Holyfeild fight a draw. I remember thinking there was about 6 rounds that were tough to score and 3 clear rounds each - though lewis's 3 clear rounds were HUGE "Lewis rounds" where he beat evander up. Holyfeilds 3 best rounds were no where near as dominant.

my favorite fighter was Hearns and he was never involved in a controversial decision which he should have lost. Had he beaten Barkley in 1992 it migh have been, and he was close to getting that one. I think one point would have made it a draw and he would have kept the title.

Two crazy losses. Hearns was the bigger man too. Weird.

Ricardo Lopez: Alvarez I (very close but I thought Lopez was lucky to get a draw in that fight)
Louis-Walcott I was the first one that came to mind for me, FR. Though I did think JMM should've gotten a lopsided nod over Pac in their third bout.

I begrudingly admit Holmes lost to Spinks the first time.

But don't get me started about the rematch.

Cotto lost to Clottey. I had it 114-113 for him, though Cotto won the event, fighting on and staging a comeback with that horrible cut. Clottey will have rued his inactivity in some of the rounds.

Marquez lost the fight with Chris John. why this is considered controversial I don't know, the footage belies what people actually believe happened in the fight. Close fight but a fair win for John imo.

Marquez lost to Pacquiao, a close fight, but just had Pacquiao nicking it.

Mayweather lost to Castillo, pretty clearly in my mind, although a lot of Floyd's work is very subtle and might not have got the credit it deserved in this fight.

Tiberi was robbed against Toney.

Benitez lost the first fight with Bruce Curry. Very unlucky was Bruce not to get the decision, especially after having Wilfred on the canvas and on the brink of being knocked out.
