If Lucas Browne can get past James Toney, a Browne vs Leapai match-up would be a ball-tearer. But that's assuming Browne won't get that crack at the Commonwealth title he's after via Towers.

Browne would KO Demori, Haumano & I'd give him even money on Leapia...........he's certainly got the power to take anyone out & seems to be getting better with each fight.....and stop comparing the MMA KO's......anyone can get KOed lying on their back.

Correct. The kick (swinging foot) he persisted with on his lead left foot rendered him defenceless and should've got KOd in the first round with punches.
He would never do that in boxing because he knows what defence is in boxing. He is still active and still world champ. That's ballsy.

Just read an on-line article where Lucas Browne says he wants "a hat-trick of British knockouts".

Browne says "he wants Audley Harrison, David Price and Tyson Fury, in that order"

Browne says of Harrison: "The majority of the UK public want to see me bash him into retirement". He also questions Price's chin.

If he is unknown in the UK then fighting the UK's best known fighters is a step in the right direction. Fury is a tough ask so a loss to him is no disaster. Lucas could take out every HW in the Southern Hemisphere and still be called a bum fighter.

If Lucas Browne did manage to KO James Toney and follow it up by stopping Audley Harrison it would be an enormous career lift for him. Not because Toney & Harrison are world beaters, but because of their respective high profiles.

There are a lot of disgruntled UK boxing fans after watching Harrision's performances against Haye and then Price. They feel a little ripped off after a lot of build up, especially against Haye. They do want someone to retire him. Who did he beat to win Prizefighter, a 3 round tourney. Noone.
