Default What the hell happened to Sergey Rozhnov

Remember that dude? The one that had his debut against Owen Beck? He hasn't fought since. Whilst I didn't think beating Beck was a huge deal in itself, I thought the management of him would be very ambitious. It couldn't get less ambitious than not having another fight

But seriously, where is that dude?

He fought in a Russian Prizefighter type tournament not long after the Beck fight havent heard anything since. He knew Povetkin from the amateurs and fought him in the 2004 Olympics fighting for Bulgaria and was brought in as a sparring partner for Povetkin or Lebedev or someone then had the Beck fight but i don't think he had any aspiration to be a pro fighter. I would like him to make a run at HW and see what he can do because he looked quite good but im not expecting it to happen.

There was a *** scandal involving him and Miss Bulgaria 2006 last year. Other than that, I haven't heard anything about him recently. Nothing boxing related.
